Connect to North State Flexibles FTP site using FileZilla

FileZilla is a free application that gives an intuitive graphical user interface when using FTP to transfer files.  It is more dependable then using a web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer) and will not time out when transferring large files.

1. Download Filezilla.  Click here to download and install.
2. One installed, go up to File and choose Site Manager. Or click this button  on the top left.
3. Click New Site.  In the area that your cursor opens up too, type in “NSF” or “North State Flexibles” as a name to reference to in the future.
4. Beside Host, type in www.nstatepkg.com or www.nsflexibles.com
5. Beside Logontype, choose Normal in the drop down box.
6. Beside User and Password, type in your username and password that was provided to you by North State Flexibles.
7. Click the Transfer settings tab.  Click the bubble beside Active.
8. Go ahead and click OK at this point to save these settings.
9. Go back to File > Site Manager or click  to go back into Site Manager.  You will see North State Flexibles listed here that we just created.  Anytime you want to connect to the FTP, you just select North State Flexibles and click Connect.  You will be in your FTP folder on North State Flexibles..
10. On the left side will be the contents of your computer.  On the right side is the contents of your FTP folder at North State Flexibles.   Simply drag and drop files from the left side to the right side to transfer to North State Flexibles.  You can also drag and drop the opposite way to transfer to your computer if need be.
